Are you an experienced Gear Cutter or Grinder with a passion for high-precision engineering?
A respected engineering company based in Cambridgeshire is looking for a skilled individual to join their dedicated manufacturing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hands-on, specialist role within a tight-knit section of a high-performance manufacturing facility, contributing to the production of components used in advanced motorsport, automotive, and performance applications.

The Role:

In this dual-discipline role, you’ll be responsible for setting and operating cylindrical and surface grinders, while also supporting the gear cutting section.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Set and operate grinding and gear cutting machines according to engineering drawings and inspection requirements.

*

Liaise with the Manufacturing Manager/Supervisor to manage priorities and plan workloads efficiently.

*

Manufacture components to exacting quality standards, meeting the requirements of work instructions.

*

Complete all necessary documentation in line with internal processes and quality procedures.

What You’ll Need:

*

Proven experience in grinding (surface and cylindrical) and/or gear cutting (hobbing, shaping).

*

The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow detailed inspection schedules.

*

A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and working with precision.

Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail.
