The Role:
In this dual-discipline role, you’ll be responsible for setting and operating cylindrical and surface grinders, while also supporting the gear cutting section.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate grinding and gear cutting machines according to engineering drawings and inspection requirements.
- Liaise with the Manufacturing Manager/Supervisor to manage priorities and plan workloads efficiently.
- Manufacture components to exacting quality standards, meeting the requirements of work instructions.
- Complete all necessary documentation in line with internal processes and quality procedures.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience in grinding (surface and cylindrical) and/or gear cutting (hobbing, shaping).
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow detailed inspection schedules.
