An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Turning Supervisor to join a well-established and growing precision engineering business. This is a hands-on supervisory role within a small, skilled turning team, supporting the wider management team in delivering high-quality, time-critical components for various industries, including Motorsport.

We’re looking for a fully skilled CNC Turner with a background in producing precision machined parts from a variety of raw materials, particularly exotic metallics. The ideal candidate will have experience with Fanuc-based controls and Siemens-based control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support a small but growing CNC turning team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Set and operate a range of CNC lathes, including barfed and chucking machines with live tooling and Y-axis.
  • Ensure high-quality output using relevant measurement and inspection tools.
  • Monitor production progress and delegate tasks to meet delivery and quality targets.
  • Work closely with the quality and management teams to maintain standards and drive improvement.
About You:
  • Completed a Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship.
  • Strong CNC turning background in a precision engineering environment.
  • Previous supervisory or team-leading experience.
  • Competent in interpreting engineering drawings and using inspection equipment.
  • Familiar with Fanuc and Siemens controls.
  • Programming knowledge and experience with live tooling is a strong advantage.
