We're hiring a Business Development Manager to drive growth across core advanced manufacturing sectors. This is an SME with huge ambition and capability in advanced composite and metallic solutions. After a decade of diversified growth, they are now looking for a commercially sharp operator to help them scale further.
You'll have the backing of an established business, who have recently received external investment, has the agility to move fast and make things happen.
You'll be responsible for identifying, winning, and growing accounts. This is a hands-on commercial role.
- Build and execute short- and long-term BD strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Own the full sales cycle, from early engagement through to contract signature.
- Translate complex technical solutions into compelling commercial propositions.
- Lead bid and tender responses, including pricing, P&L management and contract negotiation.
- Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and contribute to revenue forecasting.
Proven track record in business development within aerospace, defence, motorsport or advanced manufacturing.
Strong existing network in the advanced manufacturing environment across regulated industries.
Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).
Real ownership of new business activity.
