Neutonic is a fast-growing, nootropic energy brand founded by leading creators Chris Williamson and James Smith. Launched just 18 months ago, we’ve already sold over 3 million cans through our own DTC site and Amazon in the UK and USA, and we’re steadily growing month on month. Our mission is simple: to help people think clearly, focus better, and get more done - without the crash. We create clean, functional products that combine research-backed nootropics with great taste and convenience.

We’re currently live in the UK and USA, with launches planned in Australia, UAE, and Canada in the coming months – and more countries to follow as we scale globally.

The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Regulatory & Quality Manager to oversee global compliance, food safety and quality assurance across all Neutonic products. From formulation to labelling, this role ensures every product we sell meets strict regulatory standards in the UK, EU, US, Australia, UAE, and beyond.

You’ll work closely with our product, design, marketing, and e-commerce teams to ensure ingredient legality, product claims, packaging, and listings are fully compliant across all regions. You’ll also manage product testing and supplier documentation, while contributing to product innovation by reviewing ingredients for effectiveness, evaluating supporting studies, and ensuring our formulations deliver real benefits to our consumers. This is a hands-on role for someone with a deep understanding of food supplement and beverage regulations, especially across multi-market territories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own regulatory compliance and food safety across all products and markets
  • Review all new and existing product formulations for regional ingredient legality and effectiveness
  • Evaluate clinical studies to support ingredient selection and product efficacy
  • Manage third-party testing including microbiological, heavy metals, and nutritional tests
  • Maintain supplier quality assurance database and manage technical documentation
  • Write and approve compliant pack copy and label claims for each market
  • Manage barcode and SKU registration across all formats and geographies
  • Advise marketing on compliant messaging and product claims across platforms
  • Ensure all e-commerce listings are accurate and regulatory compliant
  • Assist customer service on technical product queries
  • Support market entry compliance and regulatory submissions
  • Stay up to date with changes in international food and supplement legislation

Must-Have Experience

  • Degree in Nutrition, Food Technology, Food Science, Food Law or related
  • 3+ years in food supplement regulatory compliance (UK & EU essential)
  • Proven experience managing multi-market regulatory requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of third-party testing requirements
  • Experience writing and approving compliant label copy and pack claims
  • Confidence reviewing scientific studies to support ingredient efficacy
  • Exceptional attention to detail and legislative interpretation skills
  • Clear communicator with ability to work cross-functionally across teams

Further Ideal Experience

  • Experience with sports nutrition and functional beverages
  • Familiarity with US, Australia, UAE, and Canadian regulations
  • Exposure to fast-moving CPG or start-up environments

Why Join Neutonic

  • Work with a high-growth brand in a key compliance and quality role
