Therapy Assistant / Personal Assistant

THIS IS A UK BASED POSITION, TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE ,IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT:

1. You have UK work experience with at least 6 months experience working as a support worker or in a similar position.
2. Your CV clearly shows your relevant experience and qualifications.
3. Experience with Brain Injury Support is advantageous
4. A full clean UK driver licence and access to a car that your able to use for work purposes.

NSS PLUS LTD-NeuroSupport services are currently recruiting Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants with a background of Brain Injury and Mental health experience to support services users with an acquired Brain Injury. Our service aims to support rehabilitation and in enabling people to optimise independence and quality of life.

We are looking for psychology graduates,support Workers and Healthcare Assistants or suitable candidates who would be willing to support people both within their home environment and also willing to provide support in helping our clients access the community. We are looking for candidates that are confident with working independently and providing empirical feedback where necessary.

Job Title: Therapy Assistant / Personal Assistant
Location: Northampton, NN5
Hourly Rate: GBP12.50-GBP14 per hour depending on experience.

Days & Hours:

Wednesday : 3 hours (from 11am onwards)

Friday : 3 hours (from 11am onwards)

About you-Essential Experience:

Our client is a 32 year old male, who has an Acquired Brain Injury. He is seeking a Therapy Assistant / Personal Assistant, for 6 hours per week, to assist him with various tasks and activities:

– Planning house maintenance
– Finding social opportunities
– Walking for fitness and well-being to ensure that he leaves the house
– Reminders of tasks he needs to do

The client has a Neuropsychologist that he visits, and will be seeking a Physiotherapist at some point in the near future.

Successful Candidates will:
