Are you excited by the opportunity to drive business growth through strategic outbound activity, smart prospecting, and data-driven campaigns? Do you enjoy working at the intersection of business development and marketing, turning market insight and campaign engagement into meaningful commercial conversations and qualified opportunities? If so, you may be a great fit for our Business Development Representative role. You’ll work closely with our Business Development and Marketing teams to build and execute targeted business development campaigns, generate high-quality pipeline opportunities, and support our senior sales team by creating consistent engagement with prospective clients. In this role, you’ll play a key part in connecting market opportunity to commercial growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Appointment Setting & Outbound Outreach
    • Source, engage, and qualify prospects through high-volume outbound outreach across email, LinkedIn, and phone
    • Research target accounts and key contacts to ensure outreach is relevant, timely, and personalised
    • Book high-quality discovery calls and demos directly into senior sales team calendars
    • Qualify every prospect against our ICP before a meeting is confirmed
    • Provide senior sales staff with a concise pre-call brief on every booked meeting
    • Follow up persistently and professionally across multiple touchpoints
    • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly qualified meeting targets
  • Business Development Campaigns
    • Plan and execute structured outbound campaigns targeting specific sectors, personas, or geographic markets
    • Identify and act on buying triggers — funding rounds, hiring activity, leadership changes, news events
    • Build and maintain accurate, well-researched prospect lists aligned to campaign goals
    • Test and iterate on messaging, sequencing, and channel mix to improve conversion
    • Track and report on campaign performance, feeding insights back to sales leadership
  • Marketing Alignment
    • Work closely with the marketing team to align outbound activity with inbound campaigns, content, and events
    • Follow up on marketing-generated leads and inbound enquiries promptly and effectively
    • Feed frontline intelligence back to marketing — common objections, competitor mentions, messaging that lands
    • Support event and webinar follow-up outreach where relevant
    • Contribute to the refinement of ICP, targeting criteria, and campaign messaging based on what you're hearing in the market

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2–4 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or outbound sales role with exposure to campaign-based outreach
  • Comfortable operating at volume without sacrificing personalisation or quality
  • Strong written and verbal communication — you can write a cold email that earns a reply and hold a qualifying conversation with confidence
  • Organised and proactive — you manage your own pipeline of activity without being chased
  • Curious about the market — you pay attention to triggers, trends, and signals that create outreach opportunities
  • Collaborative — you work well with both sales and marketing and understand how the two functions connect
  • Familiar with CRM and sales engagement platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Outreach, or similar)
