Contract: Permanent, part-time (20 hours per week)

Location: Remote / Hybrid (Horizon Business Park, Braintree, Essex)

Salary: £16,000 – £18,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About NeuroKids: NeuroKids is a specialist paediatric psychology service supporting children and young people with complex neurodevelopmental, neurological and emotional needs across the UK. We work closely with families, case managers, solicitors, and multidisciplinary teams, providing formulation-led, needs-based support across assessment, therapy and rehabilitation.

About the Role: We are seeking a highly organised and reliable Administrator to support the delivery of both treatment and medico-legal services within NeuroKids. This role focuses on process, coordination, and documentation, ensuring that cases are accurately set up, well-managed, and progress efficiently from enquiry through to delivery. The postholder will work closely with the Clinical Lead and Service Manager, supporting the administrative processes that underpin service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enquiries & Case Setup: Log all new enquiries on the database, set up cases and maintain accurate records, upload and organise documentation.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Send Request for Support forms, consent forms, and Terms & Conditions, monitor and chase return of documentation, ensure all required information is received prior to case progression.
  • Appointments & Coordination: Book and confirm appointments, send appointment confirmations and links, maintain accurate scheduling records.
  • Report Administration: Format reports in line with templates, implement clinician-directed amendments, distribute final reports to relevant parties.
  • General Support: Respond to routine queries, support the Service Manager with case coordination.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Previous administrative experience
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Confident using digital systems

Desirable:

  • Experience in healthcare, education, or clinical settings
  • Experience working with case management or service-based systems
  • Experience supporting structured processes or compliance requirements

Role Fit: This role is well suited to individuals who enjoy working in structured, process-driven roles, take pride in accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail, are confident managing multiple tasks and ensuring nothing is missed, prefer a non-clinical role supporting service delivery, and are seeking a stable, longer-term administrative position.

Please note: This is a non-clinical role. The postholder will not provide advice, interpret clinical information or be involved in clinical decision making.

To apply, please send your CV and a short covering statement to Dr Sally Robinson.
