  • Monday to Friday: £12.96 per hour
  • Saturday and Sunday: £14.58 per hour
  • Bank Holiday: 1.5 times usual weekday hourly rate

Waking Night:

  • Monday to Friday: £12.96 per hour
  • Saturday and Sunday: £14.58 per hour
  • Bank Holiday: 1.5 times usual weekday hourly rate

Sleeping Night:

  • Monday to Friday: £76.66 per shift
  • Saturday and Sunday: £79.90 per shift

Desirable: Experience as a support worker with clients with complex needs such as brain injury

Family/Client Pets: Client lives at home with his wife and 24-hour care team

About the Client:

MW (85) is an elderly gentleman who suffered a traumatic brain injury from a road traffic accident and now requires 24-hour care. He lives with his wife and is visited regularly by his children and grandchildren. They reside in an adapted, level-access property suitable for his needs.

MW cannot communicate his needs verbally, but the care team understands his cues and behaviors. He is hoisted for transfers and uses a wheelchair for mobility. The support worker will assist with all aspects of self-care and daily activities.

Role Overview:

To work alongside other support team members to provide comprehensive care for MW, ensuring his daily needs are met.

Shift Pattern:

Part-time hours with shifts that may include days and nights, flexible based on discussion.
