Luke Menzies: Psychological Coach – specialising in work, business & career issues
My approach to coaching is focused on helping you gain clarity about what is important in your life and work, and then supporting you in achieving these goals in a self-aware, sustainable, effective, and enjoyable manner. I aim to enhance your self-awareness, improve self-management skills (such as managing emotions, stress, anxiety, and overworking), strengthen your relationships, and develop greater psychological flexibility to handle life\’s challenges.
Most clients seek my help to improve their performance at work or in their careers. However, many also wish to address aspects of home life, relationships, and parenting.
My coaching does not fit into traditional categories like \’executive,\’ \’business,\’ or \’life\’ coach because I see each client as a whole person. Since life and work are deeply interconnected, I treat you as a complete individual.
I employ a blend of evidence-based coaching approaches, including positive psychology, emotional intelligence, ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and stress management techniques.
I have pursued extensive high-quality training and continuously seek to expand my knowledge and techniques.
With a particular interest and qualifications in stress management and addressing patterns of unhelpful negative thinking, I focus on root causes of stress.
Many of my clients hold demanding, potentially stressful professional roles. I help them develop lifelong skills to intercept and reduce stress responses, enabling a healthier, more sustainable, and enjoyable life both professionally and personally.
My coaching promotes mental well-being and psychological flexibility, helping you cope more effectively and sustainably with life\’s challenges.
