Responsibilities:
- Mowing, edging and trimming hedges, and maintaining soft landscaping areas.
- Planting trees, flowers and shrubs.
- Clearing snow from pedestrian areas, maintaining walkways and car parks.
- Conducting weekly checks on groundskeeping equipment.
- Performing litter picks and addressing issues such as dog fouling and sharps.
- Applying herbicides, fungicides or insecticides when needed.
- Occasionally carrying out hard landscaping tasks.
- Participating in estate improvement works and prioritising areas.
- Assisting with compliance checks to keep the estate safe and clean.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current manual driving licence, ideally with ability to tow.
- PA1 and PA6 NPTC Spraying Licence.
- Aware of needle and sharp safety.
- Good working knowledge of estate management issues.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in similar landscaping services preferred.
- IT literacy to use smartphones, tablets and messaging/file-sharing tools.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and complete tasks to quality standards.
- Satisfactory Basic DBS check.
