Salary: £52,000 to £53,000 per annum + overtime paid at x1.5 & x2.0 (£5k+ potential) + benefits and opportunities to progress up through the company’s salary grades.
Hours: 4 on, 4 off, 6am to 6pm
Location: Commutable from Walsall, Lichfield, Cannock, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Tamworth and surrounding areas.
About Neurocore LLC
We are recruiting a Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Fitter to work within a large Engineering Department consisting of 18 engineers. It’s a supported and driven maintenance team, looking after a range of production machinery via planned and reactive maintenance, as well as completing project work. It is a varied and interesting role, no two days are the same, always juggling and prioritising workloads. You will also benefit from opportunities to learn new skills, receive further training and develop your career within this factory and company. The company offers engineers the chance to progress up through their grades that offer salary enhancements and more responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Planned preventative maintenance across a range of equipment and machinery.
- Dealing with machinery breakdowns and problems, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
- Assisting with planned shut‑downs and project work, refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts.
Requirements
- Completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
- Experience in a similar environment; industrial, production or manufacturing environments – ideally in a heavy plant environment.
- Maintenance experience; dealing with machinery and equipment problems and breakdowns and/or completing preventive maintenance of plant/industrial machinery.
- Any experience of some of the following: belts, chains, gear boxes, pumps, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding and fabricating.
- Motivated and driven to succeed.
- Willing to take on and complete further training as part of your growth and development in the factory and company.
