We have an opportunity for a Senior Neurological Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapydepartment.
This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Duties of this role include:
- Provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment for patients with neurological conditions and post-operative rehabilitation needs.
- Manage a clinical caseload to the highest standards, ensuring all assessment, treatment, and documentation reflect best practice and patient-centred care.
- Monitor, evaluate, and modify treatment plans based on clinical findings, patient goals, and outcome measures.
- Work closely with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists, and other MDT colleagues to develop and deliver coordinated, holistic care.
- Recognise and support excellence in MDT collaboration across the hospital and across other Circle Health Group sites.
- Contribute to ward rounds, MDT meetings, and patient case conferences as required.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- HCPC registered and Chartered Physiotherapist (CSP).
- Significant post-graduate experience with a strong background in general and neurological physiotherapy.
- In-depth knowledge of HCPC and CSP Codes of Conduct and their application in practice.
- Understanding of the Care Standards Act and CQC regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently and supervise others effectively.
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical reasoning skills.
