What our therapists say

The role is a handover from one of our Music Therapists and a comprehensive handover will be included ahead of taking on the service. “It’s a golden opportunity to apply NMT techniques to people with brain injuries. More importantly, you’re not alone, there is a team of different professionals working together. A great opportunity to join the multidisciplinary team to work with the residents with brain injury” – Previous Music Therapist at the service.

“The fact that our NMT service has increased from 1-3 days since we first began working together is a testament not only to the positive impact that this intervention has had on their patients, but on the services direct support and recognition of the valuable role they believe NMT plays when integrated into their MDT rehab programme. The fact that new therapists rotating on receive an introduction to NMT within their induction is a further indication of just how embedded the NMT service is; they remain huge advocates so this is a wonderful and supportive team to join” – Neuro Services Lead at Chiltern
