Are you ready to lead and inspire a dynamic psychology team in a specialist brain injury rehabilitation setting? We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Lead Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Blackheath Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre – a supportive and dynamic service designed to deliver high-quality neurorehabilitation for adults with complex needs.
In this key leadership role, you’ll shape and coordinate a robust, evidence-led neuropsychology service, guiding a team of psychologists and assistant psychologists to deliver excellent, patient-centred care. You’ll be instrumental in developing psychological assessment and treatment programmes for adults with complex acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions.

What you’ll be working:
Our standard working hours are 37.5 or 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. However, we understand the importance of a positive work-life balance, and therefore, if you require some flexibility to better suit your personal or professional needs, we encourage you to discuss this with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences where possible.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and supporting a skilled psychology team, embedding clinical governance and reflective practice
- Delivering comprehensive neuropsychological assessments and evidence-based interventions, including cognitive rehabilitation and support for adjustment and mood
- Providing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) interventions and contributing to diagnosis and rehabilitation planning within the MDT
- Supervising clinical psychologists, neuropsychologists and trainees, and contributing to the induction and development of team members
- Collaborating closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, person-centred care
- Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights.
What you’ll have:
- HCPC registration
- Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology (QiCN) and eligibility for the Specialist Register in Clinical Neuropsychology (SRCN) is desirable
- Significant experience working with acquired brain injury or neurological conditions
- Previous leadership experience in a clinical or management capacity
- Excellent communication, clinical judgement, and interpersonal skills
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
