Are you an experienced dietitian looking for a role where your clinical skills are genuinely valued? Do you want the freedom to organise your working week in a way that works for you, while still being part of a small, supportive team? Are you looking for a caseload that is specialist, interesting, and never quite the same from one client to the next? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
Who We Are
Neuro Rehab Nutrition is one of the very few services in the UK dedicated solely to neurorehabilitation nutrition. We support adults, young people and children living with traumatic and acquired brain injuries, complex neurological conditions, and sensory based feeding difficulties. Our work is highly specialist, often community based, and always centred around meaningful rehabilitation goals. We work closely with case managers, solicitors, MDTs, support staff and families, and our dietitians play a key role in shaping rehabilitation pathways from early recovery through to long term.
What We Offer
- Genuine flexibility over your working pattern, with autonomy to design how your days are structured.
- A highly specialist caseload covering paediatric and adult neurorehabilitation.
- The chance to develop and lead on areas that interest you (paediatrics, neurodivergence).
- Opportunities to take forward projects and pathway development.
- A warm, close-knit team where you will be supported, listened to, and trusted.
- Technology that makes life easier, including company devices and access to AI tools such as Heidi to reduce admin burden.
- Salary of £48,000 per annum, prorated for part time.
Role Overview
As an Advanced Dietitian with us, you will carry a varied case load, primarily paediatric and secondarily adult, depending on the referrals coming in. You will have time to create a professional relationship with the client and team, so you can complete in-depth assessments, co-creating and delivering practical, realistic nutrition plans for clients with complex needs. Your work may include:
- Brain injury (TBI/ABI)
- Spinal Injuries
- Feeding difficulties (behavioural, sensory, neurodivergence-related)
- Swallowing and texture modification nutrition
- Chronic conditions such as weight management, diabetes, dysphagia, coeliac disease, gastrointestinal issues (e.g. short bowel syndrome), and potentially renal concerns
- Fatigue management and rehabilitation nutrition
You will also provide written reports for case managers and medicolegal rehabilitation teams (no expert witness work) and participate in MDT meetings both online and in person. Travel to home visits, schools or rehab units is essential, so access to your own vehicle is required.
You will be supported by:
- A Lead/Senior Dietitian who provides regular supervision and clinical guidance
- A Business Operations Manager handling admin, logistics and compliance
- Digital systems, templates and AI tools to streamline your documentation
- Peer support, case discussions and reflective practice
We are a small service, so you will have a real influence on how things work and how the service continues to evolve.
What We’re Looking For
- HCPC registered Dietitian
- Strong experience in both paediatric and adult dietetics (minimum 5 years, with 3 years paediatric experience)
- Confidence working with complex and neurological conditions
- Excellent communication and clinical writing skills
- Ability to work independently, with support when needed
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Experience with neurodivergent clients
- Community neuro rehab or brain injury experience
- Sensory based or behavioural feeding experience
Working Pattern & Caseload
Part time - flexible, with room to design a pattern that suits you and your clients. A balanced caseload with realistic expectations for the seniority of the role. Combination of virtual and community work, with travel time recognised in planning. Clear admin time protected within your schedule.
