Teacher (SEND) – Term Time / Full Time or Zero – South Shields
- Part Time or Zero Hour contracts available, with the potential to move into full-time permanent roles as our Education Service grows. This role attracts an hourly rate of pay at £28.
Essential Criteria; You must have a Teaching qualification, and QTS with at least 2 years of teaching.
About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join ournew and developing Education Serviceat a pivotal time in KEYFORT’s growth. We are actively working withSouth Tyneside Councilto support students who fall outside of traditional teaching environments and who benefit most from ourbespoke tailored education provision.
We are seeking to recruit an immediate Part Time Teacher to provide consistent support. This role is highly likely to develop into a full-time permanent positionsas our service expands.

Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and young people you support.
- Deliver engaging, good to outstanding lessons in line with Ofsted and National Curriculum guidelines.
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual needs, using creative approaches.
- Provide relevant resources and evidence learning progress, logging outcomes against student targets.
- Manage and update educational documentation (ILPs, EHCPs, care plans, transition plans).
- Liaise with families and colleagues, contributing to review meetings and collaborative planning.
- Undertake ongoing training and development.

- Ateaching qualification(essential).
- Experience working with young people, particularly those with special educational needs(essential).
