Neulinx is supporting a Series A MedTech startup that is building AI‑powered tools used by clinicians worldwide. With significant new investment and rapid product adoption, the team is now scaling its engineering organisation.

We’re hiring for two senior roles:

  • Senior Software Engineer
  • Senior Backend Engineer

Both positions offer real ownership, modern tech, and the chance to influence how the next generation of clinical decision‑support tools are built.

1. Senior Software Engineer

This role owns the entire web platform, shaping the frontend architecture, raising engineering standards and delivering high‑quality, scalable features.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead development using React and TypeScript
  • Own architecture, performance and long‑term technical direction
  • Improve maintainability, identify tech debt and guide refactoring
  • Collaborate with backend and mobile teams to ensure platform consistency
  • Implement strong engineering practices across testing, CI/CD and documentation
  • Mentor other engineers and contribute to team culture
  • Work closely with product and clinical teams to deliver meaningful features

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong background building and maintaining production web applications
  • A track record of leadership, ownership and architectural decision‑making
  • Solid understanding of design patterns, performance and scalability

2. Senior Backend Engineer

This role focuses on building and scaling cloud‑native backend systems powering AI‑driven clinical knowledge tools.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and build serverless backend systems on AWS
  • Contribute to infrastructure‑as‑code and DevOps tooling
  • Develop LLM‑powered features, including RAG pipelines
  • Build document extraction workflows for clinical PDFs and structured data
  • Own performance, reliability and security across backend systems
  • Collaborate with product and frontend teams to deliver key features
  • Implement serverless architecture best practices

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years backend engineering experience
  • Strong AWS skills and hands‑on cloud build experience
  • Exposure to LLM/AI workflows, embedding models or semantic search
