Own & Shape a High-Impact SaaS Product
My client, a fast-growing SaaS company, is seeking a Technical Product Owner who understands how systems work at a deeper level—not just what they do. This role sits at the intersection of product and technology, requiring someone who can confidently own system integrations, API development, data modelling, and AI-enhanced features.
While this is not a coding role, you’ll need to engage comfortably with engineering teams on technical topics like APIs, database relationships, and backend architecture. You’ll play a key role in shaping a platform used by thousands of businesses across the travel, property, and hospitality sectors.
About the Company:
- A fast-scaling SaaS platform supporting automation and integration for businesses across property, travel, and hospitality.
- High-traffic platform serving international markets.
- Focus on AI-enhanced automation, seamless integrations, and user experience.
- Collaborative environment with engineers, designers, and industry experts.
- Culture of innovation and fast-paced delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Take full ownership of product development from concept to release.
- Collaborate with developers and architects on system performance and integration.
- Define API requirements and ensure efficient data workflows.
- Create technical specifications, user stories, and wireframes.
- Understand backend data models and contribute to database design decisions.
- Investigate data issues using SQL and support resolution.
- Help shape AI-powered features, such as automated content generation and intelligent data processing.
- Translate complex technical topics into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth system integration, focusing on data validation, quality, and error handling.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelors Degree.
- 3+ years as a Product Owner in SaaS, marketplaces, travel booking, e-commerce, or B2B platforms.
- Strong technical understanding—comfortable discussing APIs, data structures, and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, endpoints, authentication, and documentation.
- Familiarity with relational databases and data modelling.
- Comfortable using SQL (or open to learning) for data investigation and validation.
- Experience with AI-led features such as automated suggestions or intelligent workflows (desirable).
- Prior experience with high-traffic, product-led platforms.
- Competency with tools such as Figma, Axure, or similar for prototyping.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to balance technical feasibility with business priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Please note: This role is not suitable for candidates with traditional banking tech backgrounds. We are looking for experience in agile, product-led, consumer-facing environments.
