Neulinx are proud to be partnering with a fast-growing commercial property consultancy on their search for an experienced Facilities Manager to join the team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, has a strong technical foundation, and enjoys being hands-on with both clients and contractors.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality FM and building consultancy services to a broad client base – from reviewing service charges and managing maintenance contracts to leading small-scale projects (up to £0.5M), carrying out audits, and advising on compliance and lifecycle planning. Expect plenty of variety across tenant, landlord, and contractor projects.

A typical week could include:

  • Reviewing and re-tendering M&E service contracts
  • Writing technical specifications and PPM schedules
  • Carrying out lifecycle and condition surveys
  • Leading small refurbishment or plant replacement projects
  • Conducting audits and quality checks across commercial buildings
  • Advising on statutory compliance, CDM, and energy efficiency (EPC/MEES)

What we’re looking for

  • Background in Facilities Management (ideally hard services)
  • Previous experience with commercial property
  • Strong understanding of health & safety, CDM, and compliance
  • Confident in project managing small works and technical audits
  • Comfortable producing reports, tenders, and asset lists
  • Personable and client-facing – a natural problem solver
  • Ideally degree or HNC qualified in FM or a related technical field

Why apply?

  • Hybrid working: 4 days in the office or on client site, 1 day remote
  • Generous holiday allowance: 28 days per year (plus bank holidays)
  • Pension and mileage allowance
  • Great culture with a close-knit, knowledgeable team
