Remote (UK) £80,000 - £100k Neulinx have partnered with an award-winning global hospitality SaaS platform used by over 30,000 hotels, holiday rentals and accommodation providers worldwide. We're looking for a Technical Product Engineer to sit at the intersection of software engineering, APIs, customer engagement and product development. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a software engineering background who enjoys working directly with customers and partners, helping them integrate with APIs, solve technical challenges and influence the future direction of a growing platform. The role combines elements of API engineering, developer advocacy, product ownership and technical consulting. Over time, it will evolve further into AI-powered products, MCP integrations and next-generation platform capabilities.
The Role
- You'll work closely with customers, integration partners, product teams and software engineers to help shape and expand the platform's API ecosystem.
- A significant part of the role involves engaging directly with customers and partners who are building on top of the platform, providing technical guidance, understanding requirements and helping define how new API capabilities should be designed and delivered.
- You'll also play a key role in identifying gaps in the platform and collaborating with engineering teams to design API-led solutions that unlock new functionality and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers and partners to support API adoption and integration projects
- Provide technical guidance and answer questions relating to APIs and platform capabilities
- Gather requirements and translate customer needs into technical solutions
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams on API design and implementation
- Evaluate technical partnerships and third-party integrations
- Help shape the future API strategy of the platform
- Support MCP-based integrations and AI-enabled workflows
- Act as a bridge between customers, product and engineering teams
- Contribute to the evolution of AI-powered platform capabilities
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years' experience in software engineering, integrations, solutions engineering, developer advocacy or technical product roles
- Strong experience working with REST APIs
- Experience working directly with customers, partners or external stakeholders on technical integrations
- Software engineering background with the ability to engage credibly with developers
- Experience defining requirements and translating them into technical solutions
- Strong understanding of API architecture, integrations and backend systems
- Experience within SaaS, software or platform businesses
Nice to Have
- GraphQL experience
- Python experience
- Exposure to C#
- Experience working with MCP servers or MCP-based integrations
- AI, LLM or agentic workflow experience
- Product ownership or technical product management experience
