Job Title: Head of Growth (Consumer / B2C)
Location: London Hybrid
Salary: £90,000 to £105,000 base, with potential bonus or equity
About the role
My client is a fast‑growing consumer platform in the digital health and marketplace space. They are looking for a commercially minded and hands‑on Head of Growth who can take full ownership of the customer engine from acquisition through to retention. This is not a traditional marketing position. It requires someone who blends data, product thinking, creativity and execution, and who can make improvements quickly and independently.
Responsibilities
- Own the entire web funnel including acquisition, conversion, retention and repeat behaviour
- Lead CRM and lifecycle marketing across email, push and SMS including onboarding, engagement, reactivation and win‑back programmes
- Oversee SEO across technical and content areas and shape digital channel strategy including paid acquisition
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to design and ship growth experiments, define requirements and prioritise the growth backlog
- Analyse cohort behaviour, attribution data and funnel metrics to identify opportunities and make fast incremental improvements
- Test monetisation ideas and new service offerings to increase revenue per user
- Take on a small existing team of marketing executives as their direct line manager
- Build and scale the wider growth and marketing function as the business continues to grow
Qualifications
- Five to eight years of consumer growth experience in tech, marketplace, subscription or digital health environments
- Someone who is a strong individual contributor and comfortable being hands on with data, landing pages, funnels, experimentation and optimisation
- Proven CRM and lifecycle marketing experience with clear evidence of impact
- Solid SEO experience with a track record of improving organic performance
- Strong analytical capability and confidence with web analytics, attribution and experimentation frameworks
- Ability to work effectively with product, engineering and commercial teams
- A humble and low ego approach with a focus on learning, curiosity and collaboration
Nice to have
- Marketplace or subscription model experience
- Experience with paid acquisition and co‑marketing partnerships
- Creative instinct combined with strong analytical discipline

This is the first senior growth hire for my client and a key foundational appointment. You will inherit a small team of marketing executives and shape how the growth function develops. Over time you will build a high‑performing growth team while remaining hands on with experimentation, funnel optimisation and data‑driven improvements. Your work will directly influence how the business attracts, engages and retains its customers.
