In nine years, Neudata has grown to be the number one provider of data scouting services, with its “Scout” and “Ranger” platforms, to investment management firms globally (hedge funds, asset managers, private equity and venture capital firms) and is now gearing up to continue its rapid growth by launching new products and entering new market segments and verticals (including Professional Services, Government and Corporate data buyers).
The newly launched Neudata “Navigator” software-as-a-service platform provides a broad suite of capabilities enabling full data lifecycle management within an organisation. The software modules cover a range of key functions, including data cataloguing, trial management, subscription and vendor management, cost negotiation, budgeting, risk and due diligence, as well as governance.

We’re looking for a Sales Director to lead the sales effort for Navigator (our SaaS solution) in EMEA, targeting new logo and existing investment management and bank clients. This is our first Navigator-specific sales hire in Europe (following a hire in New York) with potential for leadership as we grow. You will also cross-sell our existing products, Neudata Scout and Neudata Ranger into your target accounts.
Unlike our other offerings, which are focused on data solutions and services, Navigator is a true SaaS product—and we’re seeking someone with proven experience selling software to bring additional expertise to our team and help shape our go-to-market strategy.
Your primary responsibility will be to sell Navigator to hedge funds, asset managers, banks and private equity firms. You'll manage the full sales cycle—from opening opportunities and running product demos, to engaging with multiple stakeholders, collaborating with the product team, negotiating terms, and closing deals to meet and exceed your quota. Many of your target customers will also be interested in help in data sourcing and evaluation, so you will also sell our more mature products, Scout and Ranger.
Expect frequent in-person meetings in London and international travel for client visits and events in cities like Paris, Geneva and Amsterdam.
As a key player in this next phase of our growth, you’ll have the chance to influence strategy, contribute creative ideas, and work cross-functionally across business units.
This role is perfect for a seasoned SaaS Sales person with experience in selling into funds and/or investment banks, or a strong desire to break into one of the most exciting spaces in finance. You'll gain unparalleled exposure to intellectually engaging conversations with prospects, own your territory, and join a tight-knit, high-performing team in the dynamic world of fintech SaaS.

Responsibilities
- Prospecting your territory, including regular event attendance and quarterly business trips.
- Conducting discovery calls to qualify leads that fit our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) to understand the prospect’s challenges, goals, and needs.
- Collaborating with marketing/SDR function to leverage campaigns and events for lead generation.
- Demonstrating how Neudata products address the customer’s pain points through story-led demos.
- Addressing objections and following up diligently.
- Drafting proposals and negotiating contract terms to reach a mutually beneficial agreement.
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and opportunities in the CRM.
- Updating forecasts regularly to provide clear visibility into potential revenue.
- Prioritising deals in the pipeline to maximise efficiency and results, following up consistently to maintain momentum in the sales process.
- Providing feedback to product and marketing teams based on customer insights and objections.
- Achieving or exceeding assigned quotas for revenue or deal volume.
- Continuously refining sales strategies to improve performance and meet goals.
- Keeping up to date with investment industry trends, competitor offerings, and product updates.

You Should Have
- 3-10 years experience of selling SaaS solutions.
- Experience of enterprise deal sales cycles. Demonstrated ability to engage multiple stakeholders in an opportunity.
- Courage to ask tough questions.
- A passion for sales and software solutions.
- Presentable and articulate online and in-person. Excellent time management skills.
- Good CRM hygiene is a must.
- Resilience is a must.
- Alternative and/or market data knowledge or experience is a plus.
- A grasp of sales qualification methodologies (like MEDDICC) is a plus.
- College degree or equivalent.

Compensation
- Competitive base salary.
- 25 days of annual leave plus an additional day for each year worked (capped at 30 days).
- Flexible work from anywhere, hybrid and office-based work.
- Study days.
- Volunteering day.
- Employee referral bonus scheme.
- Private medical insurance including dental, optical, and hearing.
- Enhanced family policies.
- Company social events.
- Workplace pension scheme with salary sacrifice and pension matching opportunities.
