Our independence is what really sets us apart - we provide objective, unbiased intelligence that our clients trust and depend on.
Our suite of products and services is built around client needs: Scout for alternative data sourcing and ESG insights, Ranger for traditional data intelligence, plus expert data monetisation consultancy and industry events. With offices in London, New York, and Shanghai and a team of 100 people, we combine global reach with a small‐team culture where every individual can make an impact.
The Role: We're seeking an experienced, analytical, and forward‐thinking product leader to join us as our Chief Product Officer (CPO). This is a newly created position at Neudata, representing a pivotal moment in our organisational growth. You'll play a central role in Neudata's evolution, taking full ownership of our product lifecycle, strategy, and team, shifting us into a truly product‐led organisation.
Your Key Responsibilities:

- Dedicate immediate effort and focus to our Ranger product, conducting deep analysis to establish its strategic direction and unlock substantial greenfield opportunities.
- Build systematic frameworks to gather continuous feedback directly from clients, prospects, and users, moving away from ad‐hoc processes to build a holistic, market‐driven picture.
- Introduce robust success measurement, usage analytics, and post‐release analysis to monitor feature landing, behavioural changes on the platform, and clear ROI.
- Provide unified leadership, practices, and standards across the product management team, while improving cross‐departmental communication regarding development motivation, feature rollouts, and internal training.
What You'll Bring:
- Extensive product leadership experience, showing the drive and capability to grow alongside a scaling business.
- Deep understanding of at least one of the following: the hedge fund ecosystem, investment management, or the market/alternative data space, and how different fund strategies operate.
- Demonstrated experience using advanced user‐monitoring and feedback tools to collect clean, actionable user data that informs UI/UX design and platform improvements.
- Proven ability to implement unified product standards, practices, and architectures to successfully scale an organisation.
- Strong track record of aligning product roadmaps with cross‐functional commercial teams, including marketing, sales, and executive stakeholders.
Our Benefits & Perks:
- 25 days' annual leave, plus an extra day for each year of service (up to 30 days), alongside one paid volunteering day and two paid study days per year.
- Hybrid and flexible working, including working from anywhere for up to 10 working days per year from a location of your choosing.
- Private medical insurance via Vitality (including dental, optical, and hearing).
- Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental policies.
- Enhanced pension scheme via NEST.
Key Details:
- Location: London (Moorgate) with hybrid working. Given the global scope of the role, quarterly travel to international teams is anticipated.
- Salary: Competitive base salary and incentive package.
- Start Date: ASAP.
- Line Manager: Founder & CEO.
- Recruitment Process: Initial screening call with our Talent Acquisition Manager, competency interviews with our Founder & CEO and CTO, meetings with key Neudata stakeholders, final stage half‐day panel interview (including a presentation).
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and shortlisted candidates will be invited to an initial screening call with our Talent Acquisition Manager. Candidates who may require visa sponsorship should discuss this with the hiring manager during the interview process.
