Overview

Data Policy & Regulatory Analyst, London. Fintech firm Neudata is the only objective and neutral data scouting service dedicated to finding alpha-generating data for investment managers. We are headquartered in London with offices in NYC and Shanghai.

As a Data Policy & Regulatory Analyst, you will support our flagship compliance product, Sentry. You will analyse policy decisions and their downstream effects on the data industry and investment managers, interpret regulatory changes, identify risks for the company and clients, and translate complex legal language into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and break news to hedge funds by monitoring news sources for data compliance developments.
  • Define the conversation for investment managers by researching and publishing thought leadership on regulatory trends, topics, and industry best practices. Influence the development of our alerts, risk tools, and regulatory content.
  • Drive Neudata’s vendor risk program by evaluating due diligence forms and investigating emerging risks. Act as a liaison between Neudata and hedge funds, providing guidance on data compliance and supporting high-stakes client calls.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor\\\’s degree or above.
  • 3-5 years of experience in diligence, compliance, journalism, or analyzing regulations related to technology and data.
  • A legal background or experience within government/regulatory bodies is highly additive.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create insightful content with minimal supervision.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in data policy.
  • Ability to determine the credibility of information gathered.
  • Positive attitude with initiative to develop and take on additional responsibilities.

  • 25 days of annual leave plus an additional day for each year worked (capped at 30 days).
