Position Overview: Neuberger is looking for a motivated and ambitious student or recent graduate to join our EMEA Fixed Income Client Portfolio Management (CPM) team in London as a paid trainee for a 12-month placement. The EMEA FI CPM team serves as a critical link between the firm’s Fixed Income investment platform and its clients and internal stakeholders across the region.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced, global investment management environment, working day-to-day alongside senior Client Portfolio Managers and Specialists. For the right candidate, strong performance during the traineeship could lead to a permanent role within the team.
Primary Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day support to the EMEA FI CPM team.
- Support the team in preparing materials for client investment reviews, consultant due diligence meetings, new business presentations and finals.
- Assist with drafting and updating marketing materials, market commentary, white papers and newsletters.
- Help maintain and update RFP/DDQ content libraries.
- Support monitoring of performance, market developments and competitor positioning across the Fixed Income product range.
- Assist in preparing presentation decks and briefing materials for conferences, client meetings and internal stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal departments to help coordinate materials and campaign ideas.
- Assist with the compilation and analysis of Fixed Income market and portfolio data.
- Provide general day-to-day administrative and organizational support to the EMEA FI CPM team.
- A demonstrable interest in fixed income markets and asset management.
- Currently pursuing a university degree or a recent graduate; flexible around degree discipline.
- Experience of interning/placement within the asset management industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized, motivated and a self-starter, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a global team.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); proficiency in AI tools.
