The Role
We’re looking for a GIS professional with 1–2 years of experience who’s eager to deepen their technical skills and grow into a future Project Manager. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, mapping and data analysis, and wants hands‑on exposure to real development projects from day one.
You’ll work closely with the development team, supporting site identification, constraint mapping, land analysis and wider project work across our pipeline.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating and maintaining GIS datasets, maps and spatial analyses to support early‑stage project development
- Identifying potential sites using GIS tools and internal criteria
- Preparing clear, accurate plans for planning applications and internal presentations
- Managing project data, constraints and land information
- Supporting project managers with research, reporting and coordination
- Helping improve processes and tools as our development activities grow
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of professional GIS experience (ArcGIS, QGIS or similar)
- Strong understanding of spatial data, mapping techniques and geoprocessing
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- A genuine interest in renewable energy and infrastructure development
- Willingness to learn, take responsibility and progress toward a project management role
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, positive approach and willingness to contribute to a small but ambitious team
