Lead Estimator – Engineering & Construction Location: Blanchardstown, Dublin Type: Permanent Sector: Data Centres / Engineering / Construction An established Irish engineering and built-environment business is looking to appoint an experienced Lead Estimator to join its Dublin team. This is a key role within the pre-construction function, taking ownership of significant tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission and handover. Projects span Data Centres, Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences, Industrial, Commercial and Energy environments. The Role * Manage and prepare detailed, commercially robust tenders. * Review drawings, specifications and scope requirements. * Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations. * Identify commercial risks, exclusions and opportunities. * Lead tender reviews and work closely with engineering and delivery teams. * Support and mentor junior estimators. About You You’ll have strong Mechanical and/or Electrical estimating experience, ideally gained within a main contractor, MEP contractor or engineering services environment. You should be comfortable managing sizeable tenders independently, with strong knowledge of measurement, pricing, subcontractor engagement and commercial analysis
