I'm working with a specialist power systems consultancy that's looking to hire a Graduate Power Systems Analysis Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in power system studies, working on renewable energy and grid connection projects across the UK.
You’ll gain exposure to:
- G99 & Grid Code Compliance Studies
- Load Flow & Fault Level Analysis
- Reactive Power & Fault Ride Through Studies
- Voltage & Frequency Control
- Protection, Harmonic & Arc Flash Studies
- Projects connecting generation up to 100MW at 33kV–132kV (with some EHV exposure)
- Emerging technologies including Grid Forming Inverters
They’re looking for graduates with an MEng/MSc in Electrical Engineering (or similar), a solid understanding of power systems, and ideally some exposure to software such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, PSS®E or PSCAD.
