This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious team at a pivotal time for the energy transition, with genuine progression into a Project Manager or Development Manager role.

Why this role is exciting

You’ll be working at the heart of nationally significant projects, supporting the full development cycle from early feasibility all the way through planning and late-stage development. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain exposure to technical, environmental, commercial and stakeholder engagement workstreams, an ideal environment to sharpen your skills and accelerate your career in renewable energy.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting planning applications, including EIAs and major consenting routes
  • Helping deliver public consultations and liaising with planning authorities
  • Organising site access, surveys, landowner meetings and site visits
  • Assisting with turbine layout updates, constraints mapping and technical inputs
  • Preparing internal reports and keeping project documentation in top shape

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in project coordination, development support or assistant project management — ideally in renewables, infrastructure or the built environment
  • A solid grasp of the UK planning system
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple workstreams
  • Someone confident speaking with consultants, landowners and stakeholders
  • (Bonus) Experience with onshore wind, EIAs or major energy consenting (Section 35/44)

What you’ll get

  • Salary: £40,000–£50,000 (DOE)
  • Full medical + dental cover
  • 28 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Annual bonus
  • A clear pathway to a Project Manager / Development Manager role
  • A collaborative environment, exposure to the full project lifecycle, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the UK’s renewable energy future
