We are looking to recruit a Plumber to join our team in St Albans.

About the Role

Working to deliver the best quality service, you’ll carry out repairs to properties, demonstrating your competence to multi-skill outside your core trade, to include minor plumbing works, building work, possible groundworks and drainage related works. You’ll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training), working efficiently and safely in line with best practice to achieve excellent customer experience.

About You

Previous experience within a similar role, you’ll have the ability to work in all weather, operate small hand tools and follow written and verbal instructions. You’ll have excellent Health & Safety knowledge, experience in repairs and maintenance, and ideally a social/local authority housing background. You’ll be able to work well both independently and as part of a team and have other relevant ancillary skills. You’ll also be prepared to undertake an NVQ BMO (Building Maintenance Operative) qualification.

Essential Qualifications Required:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent/working towards
  • G3 Qualified – Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems
  • JIB-PMES CSCS Card Blue or working towards

You must hold a valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).
