It is an exciting time to join us at Redmayne Bentley. After recently celebrating our 150th year in business, we are embarking on the next stage of our firm-wide strategy to build, improve and develop upon our strong, historic foundations. Redmayne Bentley is a firm that is committed to training and developing its colleagues, and we are looking for a new colleague to help support our Training & Competence (T&C) team with this goal.

Your key responsibilities would be:

  • Updating and maintaining all e-learning and online training content and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborating with colleagues within Training & Competence and Professional Standards & Development to develop new training materials.
  • Supporting the development and build of relevant mandatory training modules to ensure they meet departmental needs & regulatory requirements.
  • Analysing MI and training feedback data to identify trends, risks, and training needs, escalating as appropriate.
  • Contributing to the design and delivery of group learning sessions, bespoke coaching interventions, and standardised modules.
  • Working closely with the T&C Supervision Manager to ensure consistent application of standards and contribute to the evolution of the firm’s T&C policies and documentation.

We are looking for someone who has previous L&D experience, ideally in a regulated industry, who can hit the ground running to support a critical business team.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge

Essential

  • Previous experience in a HR or L&D role, with responsibility for creating e-learning and/or digital training content.
  • Experience developing training content within a regulated environment.
  • Proven experience in using systems and tools for creating e-learning & digital content (such as Synthesia, Articulate, Storyline or Rise 360).

Desirable

  • Awareness of the FCA T&C framework and its requirements.
  • Prior L&D/Training experience within investment management, financial planning, or wealth management.

Skills & Behaviours

  • Adaptable and resourceful – can apply sound judgement and be proactive to solve problems and react to changing circumstances.
  • Collaborative team player – works well as part of a wider team, supporting colleagues while also operating independently when required.
  • Creative – can create engaging and valuable content that is suitable for professional audiences.
  • Evaluative – can understand, interpret and explain regulatory expectations in clear and accessible terms.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to support colleagues clearly and confidently using verbal and written methods.
  • Meticulous attention to detail - ensures accuracy and reliability in all aspects of their work.
  • Proactive Self-Starter – takes ownership of responsibilities, uses initiative and looks for practical ways to improve how work is done.
  • Strong time management skills - able to prioritise effectively and deliver high-quality outputs within critical deadlines.

We also expect all candidates to demonstrate our core values of Excellence, Integrity, Respect, Responsibility and Teamwork.

Once you are settled into the role, you will be able to take on more responsibility within the role and develop your skills and experience further through CPD and other development opportunities. Redmayne Bentley provides support for colleagues to achieve industry standard qualifications, if that is something they wish to do. For someone who is keen to progress further in this field, there will be developmental and coaching support provided for you to potentially progress into a more senior role in the future.
