This role within our Operations Teams offers a chance to be directly involved in helping us deliver our award-winning client-centred service.

Simply put, whenever a new or existing client asks for new accounts or portfolios to be set up, the Client Onboarding team is responsible for ensuring these are done in an accurate and timely manner.

This will involve checking records on multiple bespoke systems as well as preparing and delivering portfolio and client documentation.

This is not a client-facing role. Your main contact will be with other department colleagues.

  • What we’re looking for
  • Previous extensive experience of the end-to-end Onboarding of clients and accounts, ideally within financial services or another regulated industry.
  • In depth know-how of AML/KYC policies impact the onboarding journey.
  • Experience in working in a multi discipline environment.
  • Decision making in regards to acceptance or rejection of new onboarding requests in line with organisational and regulatory requirements
  • To manage and own complex case reviews and coordination of feedback to mid/senior stakeholders
  • Compose outcome reporting
  • Be recognised as subject matter expert within field of onboarding & associated workflows such as AML, regulator requirements
  • Be called upon as subject matter expert to consult as required/on demand
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to organise, plan, coordinate, communicate and escalate tasks.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Proactive and thorough approach to dealing with workload.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working without supervision and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new processes and systems.
  • Confident user of IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel.

What does the future look like?

Once you are settled into the role, you will begin to take on more responsibility within the team, including taking on more complex processing and tasks.

Redmayne Bentley provides support for colleagues to achieve industry standard CISI qualifications, if that is something they wish to do.

Typically, our administrators would start on the Level 3 Investment Operations Certificate, which provides them with a deep understanding of our industry, FCA regulations and how our firm operates.

This can then act as a pathway to further qualifications, such as the Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma.
