Understanding your key role
As a Practice Manager you would be accountable for implementing actions and driving improvements to ensure the Middlesbrough and Gateshead clinics deliver exceptional pet owner experiences and ensure adherence to processes. Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring both clinics meet KPI's
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the role objectives
- Building a sustainable and long-term positive relationship with our host practice.
- Provide effective leadership, ensuring all teams are committed to achieving both the clinical and financial outcome of the business and understand their role in realising this.
- Line management responsibility for Head Vets and Head Nurses.
- Finding operational efficiencies within the clinics, ensuring everyone works as one team.
- Supporting our Health and Safety Manager in ensuring our clinics are a safe place to work.
Essential Skills and Relevant Experience
- Line management experience
- Operational experience of running sites
- Experience of P&L management and using data to create and deliver actions
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
- A good understanding of Excel, Power BI and other business intelligence tools
- Remain organised and calm under pressure
- Ability to work flexibly on own initiative and as part of a team
- Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
