First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) has an excellent opportunity for aMulti Skilled Plastererto join our Property Care team.
This is afull-time, permanent role (37 hours per week)plus out of hours on call, where you will handle plastering repairs, maintenance, and other multi-skilled tasks across FCHO homes, public buildings, and related contracts.

In this role, you’ll help improve lives by ensuring homes are safe, well-maintained, and comfortable for our customers.
As aMulti Skilled Plasterer, you will:
- Carry out high-quality responsiveplastering repairs and maintenancework.
- Complete various repairs like tiling, fitting skirting boards, and finishing work as needed.
- Supportfirst-time fixeswherever possible.
- Perform damp and mould washes and treatments according to our procedures.
- Diagnose repair issues, inspect work, and find the best solutions.
- Work respectfully in customers’ homes and provide an excellent experience.
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Adhere tohealth and safety legislation, risk assessments, and safe work practices.
We seek someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and wants to make a real difference in local communities, you will need to be multiskilled and be able to complete work such as tiling, fitting skirting boards and pointing .
You will:
- Hold anNVQ Level 2 minimumin Plastering or have equivalent experience.
- Have experience in repairs and maintenance inoccupied properties.
- Understand health and safety laws and safe working practices.
- Work confidently on your own and manage your workload.
- Use handheld technology/PDAs for updating repair records.
- Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Hold afull clean UK driving licence.
- Be willing to join theout of hours call-out rotaand work flexibly as needed.
