At West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) we believe everyone has a part to play, and we are looking for a dynamic and compassionate recruitment professional to join our People and Culture Directorate.
As Recruitment Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our service, with the unique job satisfaction of knowing that you are directly contributing to the recruitment of our skilled and talented workforce, and the safety and wellbeing of the people of West Yorkshire.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage the recruitment function across West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, ensuring the delivery of inclusive, efficient and legally compliant recruitment processes that support operational readiness, workforce diversity and community representation.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience of leading on recruitment across a large and complex organisation.
- Experience of workforce planning and designing and delivering inclusive recruitment campaigns accordingly.
- A strong understanding of employment law, equality and diversity legislation and public sector practices.
- Experience of analysing complex data and reporting on metrics in relation to recruitment and selection.

Whilst you will be required to work from our offices for parts of your initial training, after this you’ll work both in the office and from home as part of our ‘hybrid’ working model.
