As an Administrative Officer in the Operational Resilience department, you will provide day‐to‐day administrative support to the team, manage project documentation, ensure compliance with data protection regulations, and support operational planning and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support internal projects and national programmes within Operational Resilience.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with the Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and invoices for the management team.
  • Assist in organising meetings, governance sessions, and operational planning activities.
  • Ensure efficient running of department systems and programmes, utilising IT applications effectively.
  • Prioritise workloads, coordinate tasks for senior management, and meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering efficient administrative services to senior management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for drafting routine and complex correspondence.
  • Strong organisational skills, with ability to manage and prioritise competing workloads.
  • Understanding of confidentiality requirements within the Brigade's policies and statutory data protection laws.
  • Ability to secure or already possess Security Clearance, as the role is exposed to sensitive material.
