As a Fire ICT Engineer, you’ll join a dynamic team supporting and developing the technology that enables frontline and support services to operate effectively. Your role:
- You’ll support, maintain and develop a range of specialist and business-critical systems, including:
- Maintaining radio communications, telephony systems and emergency alerting platforms.
- Providing technical support for IT infrastructure, networks, systems and data centre technologies.
- Installing, configuring, troubleshooting and monitoring ICT systems.
- Supporting ICT projects and, following training, participating in an on-call rota for critical systems.
- Implementing security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Managing and responding to IT service requests, resolving issues and escalating where required.
