About London Fire Brigade: London Fire Brigade (LFB) is London’s fire and rescue service – one of the largest firefighting and rescue organisations in the world. We employ over 5,000 people across our operational, control, fire safety and non‑operational teams, including Fleet, IT, HR, Finance, Procurement, and Communications.
Role Overview: The new HR Business Partner will work closely with Senior HR Business Partners to support departmental heads by using data to identify and target potential areas of concern, understand risks and issues, and deliver training based on insights from quantitative and qualitative data sources.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the People Strategy for the business area using data analysis and stakeholder engagement to flag risks and opportunities.
- Identify trends and collaborate with leaders to explore solutions to complex problems.
- Provide high‑quality HR advice and guidance to managers on complex matters, adopting an early intervention approach.
- Gather feedback from a range of sources, produce holistic reports of data and insights, and facilitate workshops to improve management capability and outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and people skills to build effective relationships with senior leaders and subject‑matter experts across HR and other functions.
- Experience in analysing data and engaging stakeholders.
- Ability to create engaging content and facilitate meetings.
