Job Purpose
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the District Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
The role provides comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the District Management Team, acting as the central point of contact for correspondence, data management, diary coordination, reporting, meetings, and operational activities to ensure effective station-based service delivery. It also supports performance monitoring, project documentation, budget oversight, prevention and operational initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and business continuity, ensuring accurate records and smooth district operations at all times.
Essential Requirements
The role requires proven administrative experience in an office environment, with strong IT skills across Word, Excel and PowerPoint, the ability to interrogate databases, capture and analyse data accurately, monitor budgets, and work effectively with geographically dispersed teams. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication, organisation and prioritisation skills, the ability to work independently to tight deadlines with tact and discretion, a commitment to data quality, equality, diversity and health and safety, alongside appropriate level 2 qualifications in literacy, numeracy and IT (or equivalent experience).
We offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working. Whilst you will be required to work from our offices for parts of your initial training, after this you’ll work both in the office and from home as part of our ‘hybrid’ working model. Therefore, applicants must have a reliable home internet connection. The post is subject to a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
