Suffolk County Council is seeking a talented CAD (Computer Aided Design) Technician to join our dynamic Business Support Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a service that protects communities, supports firefighters, and delivers vital safety information.

Your role:

  • Produce and issue drawings for Fire Safety documents, operational risk plans, and fire investigation reports under Fire Prevention legislation.
  • Design and prepare graphic documents as requested, working closely with staff and senior leaders across the service to deliver high-quality outputs that help keep people safe.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
