Contract: Enhanced eDV Cleared Linux & Windows Systems Engineer
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Initial 6 months (extendable)
Location: Hampshire (on site work minimum 4 days a week)
Rate: £500 - 575 a day (Deemed Inside IR35 via Umbrella)

Due to the urgency of the assignment, resource needs to be a UK national and have current active enhanced DV clearance.
Immediate contract for an experienced engineer specialising in Linux and Windows systems to support the development of an internal messaging platform for our client.
Scope:- Deliver a pre-production test environment for a secure messaging system
- Follow build instructions provided by vendor and create internal build documentation
- Install and configure RedHat OpenShift Platform
- Build and test production environment
- Plan, track and report on progress for internal and external stakeholders
- Liaise with required stakeholders across the client business to understand the system
- Contribute to and agree test plans with test team to prove the solution
- On-site minimum 4 days a week on site (Farnborough) for duration of activity
- HMG ICT and network standards
- HMG documentation standards
- Knowledge & experience of designing solutions with the following technologies: VMware (Broadcom VCF), Linux (Redhat Openshift), Microsoft Windows (inc AD, RDS, Group Policy), MS Exchange, Privileged Access Management, Auditing & logging policies, Backup & Storage, IP Networking
- Ideally knowledge & experience of Testing.
