Contract: Data Center Network Engineer

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Rate: £420 - 450 a day (inside IR35 determination)

Location: Remote with 1 day on site a week in London (City) or North West England

MUST HAVE IN-DEPTH ARISTA EXPERIENCE AND STRONG VXLAN EVPN SKILLS IN A DATA CENTER NETWORK ENVIRONMENT.

Experienced Network Engineer with both Cisco and Arista expertise to work on a large migration project for an IT Organisation, delivering a piece of work for a global bank. This will be migrating Legacy Cisco to Arista network technology. Some weekend work will be required during migrations. Must be able to work on site twice a week.

Description:

  • Experience as a Network Engineer in datacenter environments.
  • Design and implement robust and scalable datacenter network architectures using Cisco and Arista solutions.
  • Configure Layer 2/3 networking protocols, VLANs, STP, VxLAN, BGP, OSPF, and EVPN.
  • Experience with multi-vendor environments, spanning both Cisco and Arista technologies.
  • Perform day-to-day network administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting in datacenter environments.
