The Delivery Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of technology projects.
The Delivery Manager is responsible for driving governance, planning, reporting and operational oversight across new initiatives under 'Run and Maintain' portfolio of technology platforms and services e.g. SAP multi-country rollout, Data Privacy roll out in Indian subcontinent etc. The role ensures delivery predictability, stakeholder transparency, portfolio control and continuous improvement across Run and Maintain initiatives.
This role is suited to an experienced delivery professional who is comfortable operating in structured, enterprise delivery environments, managing multiple stakeholders and suppliers, and providing clear, reliable insight throughout the project lifecycle.
Role purpose
To deliver projects safely and predictably, ensuring agreed outcomes are achieved by applying standard delivery frameworks, managing risks and dependencies proactively, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and leadership - across both CTO technology initiatives and CISO security, privacy and risk initiatives, including the safe adoption of Agentic AI.

Maintaining focus on agreed business outcomes
Key responsibilities
1. Project Delivery & Execution
Own the delivery of assigned projects from initiation through to closure.
Ensure projects deliver agreed scope, timelines, quality standards and outcomes.
Apply standard D&T delivery approaches (Waterfall or hybrid as appropriate).
2. Planning & Control
Develop and maintain robust project plans, including milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
Track progress against plan and take corrective action where deviations occur.
Manage change in a controlled and transparent way.
3. Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
Proactively identify, manage and escalate project risks, issues and dependencies.
Ensure mitigation actions are clearly defined, owned and tracked to closure.
Maintain an accurate view of project health and delivery confidence at all times.
4. Stakeholder Management & Communication
Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders across business, D&T and suppliers.
Provide clear, honest and timely communication on progress, risks, decisions and impacts.
Manage expectations and maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Financial & Resource Management (Project Level)
Manage project budgets, forecasts and financial controls within delegated authority.
Work with Finance partners to provide accurate financial reporting and early visibility of variances.
Ensure project resources and capacity are planned and used effectively.
6. Supplier & Third-Party Management
Manage delivery contributions from third-party suppliers within the project scope.
Ensure suppliers deliver to agreed timelines, quality and contractual expectations.
Escalate supplier performance or dependency issues through appropriate governance forums.
7. Governance & Reporting
Operate within established delivery governance, ensuring all required artefacts and controls are maintained.
Provide accurate, decision-oriented reporting into portfolio, performance and assurance forums.
Support reviews, stage gates and audits as required.
8. Outcomes, Adoption & Handover
Maintain focus on agreed business outcomes throughout delivery.
Support transition, handover and closure activities to enable successful adoption and ongoing ownership.
Contribute to benefits realisation tracking where applicable.
9. Continuous Improvement & Professional Standards
Apply lessons learned and best practice to improve delivery effectiveness.
Contribute positively to D&T delivery standards, ways of working and capability maturity.
Demonstrate accountability, professionalism and strong delivery discipline.
10. Security, Risk & AI Governance Delivery
Provide transparent visibility of the end-to-end security portfolio alongside technology delivery.
Embed security engagement early in project and product lifecycles, ensuring security controls enable business innovation rather than slow delivery.
Support the safe adoption of AI and Agentic AI capabilities through structured governance and risk management.
Translate complex cyber and technology risks into business language suitable for executive leadership and business sponsors. xiskglj
Qualifications & skills
Essential
Demonstrated experience delivering projects in Digital, Technology or Change environments
Strong understanding of structured delivery approaches (Waterfall or hybrid)
Experience managing risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations
Strong planning, organisational and communication skills
Comfortable working in complex, matrixed environments, including managing delivery across multiple teams without direct reporting authority
Experience facilitating governance forums and executive reporting, with proven ability to prepare leadership-level presentations and communications
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with strong written and verbal communication
Preferred
Experience operating within enterprise portfolio and governance frameworks
Exposure to regulated, operational or large-scale environments
Experience managing third-party suppliers
Relevant delivery certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent)
Large-scale Cyber Security transformation programs, enterprise security portfolio management and risk-based delivery prioritization
Practical experience supporting AI programs through governance, security and risk frameworks
