The Role
The consultant will work closely with technical and delivery teams to identify, design, and validate cloud security controls across Azure environments. This is a hands-on, advisory-focused role, helping ensure that appropriate security frameworks and best practices are embedded as cloud adoption scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess existing Azure environments and identify required cloud security controls
- Define and implement security controls across cloud platforms, including:
- Validate and test security controls to ensure effectiveness and compliance
- Provide guidance on cloud security best practices and continuous improvement
- Support teams as they navigate emerging areas such as AI agents and AI-enabled workloads
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure environments
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud
- Experience with Prisma Cloud (Palo Alto)
- Proven background in cloud security architecture, controls, and validation
Desirable / Added Value
- Experience working with AWS or other cloud providers
- Exposure to or interest in AI security, AI agents, or AI-enabled services
- Ability to operate in fast-moving, project-driven cloud migration environments
