We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a team responsible for validating enterprise infrastructure solutions before they are deployed into production environments. This is not a traditional build or deployment role. Instead, you'll work in a controlled pre-production environment, testing and verifying infrastructure changes to ensure stability, performance, and readiness prior to release.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and validate infrastructure solutions in a non-production environment.
- Perform infrastructure testing across virtualisation, server, and storage platforms.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimise VMware environments.
- Validate storage connectivity, performance, and resilience.
- Execute test plans, document findings, and recommend improvements.
- Investigate issues identified during testing and work through them to resolution.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support infrastructure change and delivery.
- Produce clear technical documentation and test reports.
