Contract: AV Engineer

Start Date: ASAP (after background check completion)

Duration: 4 months

Location: City of London

Rate: £295-£305 a day (deemed inside IR35 via umbrella solution)

Experienced AudioVisual AV Engineer to support our client with a new office build, delivering audio visual, unified communications, and telephony infrastructure across meeting rooms, boardrooms, and collaboration spaces. You will have hands-on experience installing, configuring, and supporting AV/UC systems in large enterprise client environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and commission AV equipment across meeting rooms, boardrooms, and collaboration spaces as part of a new office build
  • First and second fix AV cabling, including HDMI, network, and speaker cabling, in line with structured cabling standards
  • Mount, align, and configure displays, projectors, screens, cameras, microphones, and speakers
  • Deploy and configure video conferencing platforms, including Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and telephony/UC endpoints
  • Test and calibrate room systems end-to-end, ensuring audio, video, and control systems function reliably
  • Configure and support AV control systems and room scheduling panels
  • Work closely with project managers, electricians, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
