Social Worker Supporting Families Location: South East of England Salary: Competitive Myn is recruiting on behalf of our long-term client in the South East of England, seeking dedicated and skilled Social Workers to join their team. The Role In this role, youll work closely with families, respecting their rights and strengths while identifying their needs. Your primary responsibility will be to promote the welfare of children and support families to create safe and nurturing environments. Key Responsibilities: Assess and triage incoming contacts to determine if they meet the threshold for statutory intervention. Undertake comprehensive assessments of family strengths, risks, and needs, creating SMART plans to support positive change. Collaborate with partners to implement plans and monitor progress through child-in-need and core group meetings. Conduct child protection investigations and, where necessary, initiate legal proceedings to ensure childrens safety. Facilitate timely care planning for children who require alternative family placements, ensuring their health, education, and long-term stability.
