The Role
We are recruiting for a client seeking an experienced Digital Trading Executive to join their growing team within the FMCG sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about digital trading and merchandising who is looking to further develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Digital Trading Manager, you will play a key role in supporting trading and merchandising activities across the eCommerce site. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring a high standard of customer journey and experience.
- Optimising product listings and categories.
- Managing promotions and seasonal sales campaigns.
- Analysing metrics and data to drive continuous growth and optimisation of eCommerce performance.
- This role requires someone with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in trading/merchandising, as you will need to hit the ground running and confidently manage your responsibilities.
Location & Salary
This position is based in the South-West, requiring office attendance at least once per week. The salary offered is up to £35,000, depending on experience.
Skills and Experience Required
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a digital trading/merchandising role, ideally within the retail sector.
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WordPress.
- A strong understanding of UX/UI improvement principles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with wider teams.
- Knowledge of marketplaces is desirable but not essential.
