They are now seeking an ambitious Senior Account Executive to join their London team. This is a high-impact role at the heart of the company’s growth strategy, offering ownership of the full sales lifecycle - from identifying and engaging new prospects to negotiating and closing high-value deals. Following deal closure, the Senior Account Executive will also have the opportunity to grow the accounts through upselling & cross-selling too.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to make a real impact within a fast-growing, innovation-led organisation operating on a global scale. This is a remote based opportunity for candidates based in the UK, however initial training period will require two days per fortnight in the office.
Responsibilities- Manage the full sales cycle with clients across a variety of verticals including consumer goods, education, technology, legal and energy.
- Self-generate new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders across each organisation.
- Handle contract negotiations with clients through to deal closure.
- Maintain a strong, long-term sales pipeline.
- Manage account expansion (upsell & cross-sell) following initial deal closure, gaining more revenue from the accounts.
- Work towards set KPIs, agreed upon with line managers.
- Provide accurate reporting to line manager on sales activity when required.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s offering, acting as an ambassador of the brand to prospective clients.
- 5+ years managing the full software sales cycle.
- Experience selling software or data into the pharmaceutical industry or life sciences industry is ideal.
- New business experience is essential.
- Experience using MEDDIC or similar is a plus.
- Remote based opportunity but successful candidates will be required to attend the office twice per fortnight across the initial training period.
- Basic salary: up to £80,000.
- OTE: x2 (uncapped).
